SAD FAREWELL

Without a doubt the toughest chapter for me was the final one - 'Yer Out.'  Allan H. (Bud) and the owners lockout cost baseball the World Series, but it cost me my job. Here is an insider's look at an emotional time in my career.

About the Author: Tom "Sky" Skibosh

Tom "Sky" Skibosh spent 19 years as director of public and media relations for the Milwaukee Brewers. His career in the front office put him in touch with baseball legends, future Hall of Famers and media stars - locally and on a national level.  This book is an inside look at the National Past Time and some of the Brewers best seasons and most colorful characters from someone who worked with them on a daily basis.

A look back at my book on my career with the Brewers

It's been 35 years since the Brewers won the American League Championship.

I was fortunate to spend 19 years as the Brewers media relations director. I worked with several Hall of Famers - including Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Hank Aaron, Rollie Fingers and Don Sutton. I also was part of some of the most exciting times in Milwaukee's baseball history.

I was there for Bambi's Bombers, Harvey's Wallbangers, Team Streak, Paul Molitor's 39-game hitting streak and Robin Yount's 3,000 hit. Relive these great times by downloading my book in a written or a new audio form or get both with a discounted price.
